This is definitely more my thing too. The early shows feel like a prelude, getting the audience used to the idea of the "slayer" existing in a real-life situation.. but even partway through the first season, I see they've been getting into some stranger, darker things. They've just shown the one where the demon from medieval Italy gets into the computer system at Sunnydale High School after the book is scanned! I love all of the old books and other objects they've got as props. It must be great doing the sets for that show! > And > Spike.....grrrrrrrrrrr! (lustful noise) Like Amber Benson, James Marsters > (who plays Spike) is an utter sweetheart. James Marsters is perfect as Spike. The character reminds me so much of a young "John Constantine" sometimes (of the HELLBLAZER books) I wonder if he reads it? James gives some great hair bleaching advice on the web... always add a little bit of artificial sweetener to the peroxide, to keep it from burning so much! ... and *you* thought you were off-topic, Sally :) > I'd love it if Thomas wrote the "atmosphere" music for Angel. I would love to hear more of his music too.. you've really said it well, Sally, about the tiny slices of atmosphere... it's so very true! And as with other things, I particularly love the 'darker', more introspective music he's done. xxxx Robin T ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V6 #261 ***************************
