Thanks folks for inspiring me to buy this album, I was tempted to leave it, because I thought I had all the tracks anyway, what with no timings shown on it to give any clues to the contrary. I thought that even if it turned out disappointing I'd offer it on Alloy. No way, actually! How delighted I was to find a short 3:49 version of May The Cube Be With You!! Marvellous :o) Extra things I've never heard before! Yummm... Cheers then (having made some of you jealous I'm sure) +AndyJ+ I'll see if there are any more left on Monday, BTW! - -- _______________________________________________ FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup Talk More, Pay Less with Net2Phone Direct(R), up to 1500 minutes free! http://www.net2phone.com/cgi-bin/link.cgi?143 ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 30 Sep 2001 18:56:33 -0400 From: "Robin Thurlow" Subject: Re: Alloy: Re: One of life's odd coincidences Andy wrote: > Cheers then (having made some of you jealous I'm sure) Not to mention, very curious! I must have zoned out somewhere along the line (surprise, surprise) Please tell me more about this "orange Hyperactive compilation"... I have a Hyperactive! compilation but the cover is sort of blue with red & white - not at all orange > I'll see if there are any more left on Monday, BTW! If there are any, I'd love it if you'd consider getting me one that isn't already claimed by our other good Alloy folk :) Do you take PayPal?? xxxxxx Robin T ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 30 Sep 2001 18:58:15 -0400 From: "Chris & Beena Cracknell" Subject: Re: Alloy: Excuse me while I blow my own horn... - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Baily" > Woohoo!! It's great to see you're getting recognition from your > fellow artists. Thanks for the kind words everyone. I've been so pleased lately to see my comic's readership growing and grabbing the attention of my peers. Last week my readership grew to over 4500 readers and today I've had more than 1100 readers visit my comic. But the best news today even better than having one of my characters appear in Sunday Morning Coffee last week was having two of my character appear in Sexy Losers http://wwwsexylosers.com . Sexy Losers is *the* hentai manga strip on the web and served as the inspiration for me to entre the field of webcomics. Not only did my characters appear in in Hard's strip, but they also appeared with the very characters that inspired me to do a strip about tentacle monsters.
