Not having very much luck finding something...

Does anyone here have the "Postpunk Chronicles" collection which features
Thomas' song "Airwaves"? To my knowledge, it's the only compilation available
today with a song of his that *isn't* "She Blinded Me With Science" Anyway
when I tried to order this edition of PPC last month it was sold out... so I
ordered a different one ("Scared to Dance") Now I can't find the one with
Thomas' song listed anymore on CDNow, or even on Rhino Records' home page.
The drawing on the front of the CD has a guy in a car trying to shove a tape
into his player, I think.

Also, another TMDR question... has any conclusion been reached as to whether
there is a song by Thomas and Peter Gabriel, which was made for the film "The
Fifth Element"? I recall some discussion about this before, and I was
wondering about it, since seeing the film again recently...

I hope everyone's been okay. For those of you throughout the world who know
people who are still missing from 9/11, or know members of their families, I
hope very strongly that some closure will soon be achieved in this. Today
I've just found out that my friend Jennifer, who is a grad student in forensic
anthropology, has gone down to NYC with her professor as part of the team
carefully working on identification of the victims. I hope she's okay down
there. Incidentally, speaking of this situation... my friend whose mom and
brother were rescuing pets has clarified something with me that I thought I
should explain. The ASPCA were overseeing the *official* rescue, but her
brother's rescue was an 'unofficial' one that he and their mom started on
their own. He was going into places the ASPCA hadn't been authorized to, if
he was able to get through, in order to find pets and get them out of the more
dangerous buildings closest to the collapse. That's why, when I asked my
friend about donation info in case anyone here wanted to help out, she gave me
the ASPCA's official site. Her brother's efforts weren't funded by anyone but
the ASPCA were doing great animal rescue work, and of course, caring for the
pets her brother managed to find :) So it all went toward the same effort in
the end. Thanks to all of you who were interested in this cause & understand
the importance of knowing people's beloved pets are safe!

I also have something (completely off-topic) on my mind tonight... did any of
you know I'm a "Buffy" fan? I came to it late, so I've got some catching up
to do. Lucky for me, they're showing all of the episodes from the beginning,
and I have one question. I'm dying of curiosity about Giles' car! What is
it? Is it an English make? If anyone knows about his car in the first
season... I beg you to fill me in on this.

xxxxx
