I've been listening to A-ha for a while now. i'm really beginning to like their newer stuff. I've also had Duran Duran in the cd player quite a bit (of course ^_^), and Kraftwerk on the mp3 player. i really need to get back to figuring out my Trinity... anyone have some tips on Korg Trinitys? :) i'm still kind of a beginner. before this, i had a Yamaha PortaSound from 1992. and my friend borrowed it and dropped a candle on it and melted the lower 3 keys. Anything you're > particularly drawn to right now? I've been trying to force myself out of a music-rut the last few weeks so I've been making myself pick at least semi-random CDs. It's been great rediscovering some that have been sitting in the rack for a while: Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music, Style Council, and Talk Talk for starters. That said, after fixating a bit on Sting's Fragile on the 11th and the days following (as I'd guess many did), I have found myself listening to Delerium quite a bit. In fact, just for a laugh, this page will tell you what CD's are loaded in the car at any given time. In the office it's iTunes with a couple dozen CDs worth of tracks on random so it's, well, random. :-) Paul. I really think it is an exellent album. Some other CD's I listened to on the way to work last week were Travis - The Invisible Band and Ben Folds Five - The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner. I have also been revisting my R.E.M. collection lately, mostly New Adventures in Hi Fi and Up. My biggest source of new music is 120 Minutes on MTV Sunday nights. I record the show on my computer every week and make a video CD of the videos I haven't previously recorded. I wouldn't have heard of Rufus Wainwright or Grandaddy if it wasn't for that show. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robin Thurlow" To: Sent: Sunday, September 23, 2001 12:04 PM Subject: Alloy: music > > I would love to know what people of Alloy have been listening to lately.
