As if the windsurfing photos weren't bad enough (latex/neoprene) Throw in a harness and he's ready for Man Ray's fetish night. Oh wait... he IS wearing a harness!! Thomas must have been deliberately trying to turn my brain into green Jell-O, with fruit suspended in it, when he put those particular photos up. xxxx Robin T ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 09 Sep 2001 01:28:10 -0400 From: Merujo Subject: Re: Alloy: Engrish Merujo wrote: > I send this out to some friends recently. Past tense, past tense, past tense. Jesus god, why is it that I never proofread my posts to Alloy?!? I have this vision of Dolby logging in and noting that almost every post from me has some bizarre or lame or dumb mistake. No, I have not been lobotomized. It is simply waaay past my bedtime. Grrr. Next Friday, three of the Iron Chefs are coming to battle in the courtyard at the Ronald Reagan Building. It's to promote a new website some of them have established. Chen, Sakai, and one whose name I have forgotten will be cooking and dukin' it out at noon and 5 p.m. This will be a hoot! I'd love to see them do something wild like squid or conger eels, but I bet it'll be a wee bit more tame than that. As another Dolby Duranie, may I just mention that I've seen Duran many times before, but last time around in Birmingham was just amazing. Right from the technology that went into the scenery, to the musicianship and atmosphere created by the band, they proved that they really know what it takes. I expect Kathryn that you are well aware that the Taylors are joining back up with LeBon and Rhodes to record a new album which should be out early in the new year. Unfortunately though Warren has left to make way. I'm a bit gutted at this as Warren played a big part in their revival and recent transformation. Trevor.... P.S.
