Hi all, It seems that I am not alone in my absence from Alloy. 'Just a quick note to let you know that I am rapidly disappearing under a pile of work that is growing faster than I can do it/delegate it/ignore it. For those of you that are waiting for stuff from me I'm sorry but it's just going to have to wait a while. Normal service will be resumed in a couple of weeks when things get back to normal a bit. But I enjoy lots of activity and having deadlines. Really i do. ~sob~ I forgot to mention yesterday that I'd had dreams about Mr. Dolby all night long, but I can't really remember what they were about. Normally when he appears in one of my dreams he'll sort of walk in, in the middle of some other dream I'm having (it's very strange... I've had four dreams like this over the years!) But this time he was there through the whole thing and just sort of wandering about casually. At one point I remember there was a sort of open-air mall with lots of little trees, and some sort of action was going on, while Thomas sat in the background reading a book. I don't remember what the point of the dream was though. Nothing dramatic like in Crackers' dreams. xxxxx Robin T ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 2 Aug 2001 08:52:56 -0600 From: "Keith Stansell" Subject: Re: Alloy: Down but not out... Ah yes, I've been lurking too. Since Easter weekend I've been working on my kitchen. I think I watched too many episodes of Changing Rooms and Trading Spaces for my own good. How do they completely change a room in 48 hours? I got the paint on the ceiling and walls, but now I'm slowly making my way through the cabinets. It is taking forever! But it will look good when done. - -Keith - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Thursday, August 02, 2001 2:00 AM Subject: Alloy: Down but not out... > > Hi all, > It seems that I am not alone in my absence from Alloy. Thanks Tim , for Clean Clean I had a nice sing along to that. (Oh and for anyone who was interested -- probably not many - if any of you were watching the Golf Open Championships in July at Lytham Saint Annes -- that is about 10 miles from my house -- thought id just reduce this Flat Old Earth a little bit further. 'Please remember ... the Earth can be any shape you want it any shape at all dark and cold or bright and warm long or thin or small but its home and all i ever had and maybe why for me the Earth is flat. Cheers Paul. ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V6 #202 ***************************
