The opening act was Pansy Division, a band which includes one of my old cronies. Close but no cigar mixed with six degrees of separation... Guess you didn't really need to change your name, Thomas! LLLLLLOL. Sounds like a great night out for all the family. Dog damn it, if I ever win the lottery, big time, I'm going to fund a trip for all available Alloyites to come over and see some of your gigs. It might not be rock and roll, but I'm sure we'd like it. I'm sure your music is best experienced live and at first hand. And if you wrote a book about all your muso exploits over the years I'd be right at the front of the queue to buy it. Instead of mis-heard lyrics, it's mistaken identities of the rich and famous. About 35 years ago a girl told me a looked a bit like Peter Tork, but I'm pretty sure she needed glasses. Get everyone on the list to show up from all over. We could have fun outings where ever it would be - put put golf or perhaps a pool party, lots of beer etc. A night of entertainment and music from members of the group and top it off with a private concert by the person who was the reason this list exists in the first place. That would be cool, really really cool. - -Keith - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Slarvibarglhee" > Dog damn it, if I ever win the lottery, big time, I'm going to fund a trip for > all available Alloyites to come over and see some of your gigs. While watching the Golden Age of Videos, I noticed certain things that always wondered and questioned about: 1- Toward the end of the dissidents vid after TMDR crosses the border, one of the guards starts to show a partial face. Who is it? What was the reason? 2- About 3/4 into the Field Work vid, Dolby is watching a chinese guy through a telescope and after some time the chinese guy leaves his apt (flat), TMDR grabs a crossbow with his camera. What is the reason? One never sees the crossbow after this. 3- What is the current whereabouts of Dr. Magnus Pike from the She Blinded Me Science vid? 4- The Hyperactive vid is at times slightly different, with different scenes at times, from another version that I have seen elsewhere. Is the the one on the golden age of video the American version or another version? 5- What is the setting for the Airwaves vid? I really like the way the vid captures the moment. Thanks.. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 18 Jul 2001 22:08:28 -0400 From: "Chris & Beena Cracknell" Subject: Re: Alloy: Alloy Live At LaLuna - ----- Original Message ----- > A night of entertainment and music from > members of the group and top it off with a private concert by the person who > was the reason this list exists in the first place. > > That would be cool, really really cool. Something I've never been sure about is in the Airhead video. Is the guy with the light colored hair running the remote early in the video TMDR? It kind of looks like him, but not quite. I never was sure. I know it is him later on as the sleazy guy with the dark hair, but I'm not sure about the other guy. Anyone know? - -Keith - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris & Beena Cracknell" To: Sent: Wednesday, July 18, 2001 9:06 PM Subject: Re: Alloy: dolby videos > > ----- Original Message ----- > > > 3- What is the current whereabouts of Dr. Magnus Pike from the She Blinded > Me > > Science vid? > > He's somewhere approximately 6 feet under England. Still anxiously awaiting the new Zim season (which I believe starts mid-August) and your Poop Dog episode. I have also become a fan of "Fairly Oddparents" which airs right before Zim on Fridays. Mistaken Identities.. I've never been mistaken for anyone in particular, but have been told I resemble a certain deceased painter. My sister Marie was mistaken for Valerie Bertinelli more than once in public when we were in high school. Needless to say, there is no resemblence between myself and my sister either! xxxx Robin T ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 19 Jul 2001 00:35:48 -0400 From: "Robin Thurlow" Subject: Re: Alloy: Alloy Live At LaLuna Keith wrote: > > Wouldn't it be nice if we all had the time and money to meet up somewhere > for an Alloy weekend.
