I have never found the definitive answer. Anyone want to enlighten me? ObTD:* Tom Robinson, the singer who did "Glad to be gay" and "War Baby", told a story that he and Thomas Dolby once made a deal. Their names were too similar: Tom Robinson/Tom Robertson. They therefore agreed that whoever got famous first got to keep his name. Since Tom made it first, Thomas went by Dolby to avoid confusion. Can anyone confirm this is true? diva@tn.prestel.co.uk * Obligatory Thomas Dolby question. ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V6 #79 **************************
