I may just take you up on it. My Italian was never great & I haven't done anything with it in ages. Incidentally the work you're doing for the commercials sounds really fascinating, and very extravagant!! I love watching things being filmed. I hope you're having fun, especially being in the Bahamas. I'll just assume you're having fun & getting some diving in! As if it weren't already enough to have this article about Dave's work being featured in an Italian magazine (and we've found out it's an art magazine run by his agent's friend... the agent is an international banker who's taking up artist representation as a hobby)... it turns out Dave actually gets to write a portion of it which will be translated into Italian by the editors! We're both extremely psyched about this. Dave and I had in fact been talking lately about travelling to England & Scotland this November to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Now with the magazine thing happening, I'm thinking maybe the agent might be able to arrange for Dave to meet with some gallery people in various European cities, and we can do the Continental Grand Tour thing to some degree (we'll at least see the airports & the insides of cabs) And if this should happen then the whole trip could legitimately be a business expense. Freaky! Anyway we'll just have to see how it goes. I have a horror of getting onto a plane lately so I'll have to be sedated the whole time, but still it could be fun :) And probably for the best anyway, if you really think about it. thanks again Mark & best of luck with the commercials! xxxxx Robin T - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Sunday, January 21, 2001 10:00 AM Subject: Re: Alloy: Sound Proofing & cool art/internet news! > > Congrats to Dave on his upcoming interview..!! > > Hey Robin..
