I was just listening to the AoN Drum-n-Bass remix album this weekend. It kicked my a$% around the apartment. I know I've mentioned this before but I wasn't allowed to watch MTV growing up; I would sneak over to friends houses to watch. "Close to the Edit" was fantastic. Once we saw a girl at the mall who looked just like the one in the video, hair and makeup and all. As my friend and I walked out of the bathroom, she called us sluts. I don't know why I remember that so clearly... that's certainly a neuron that could have better information stored in it! :) Well, to be on-topic, I was around my new apt this weekend making it homelike, putting up lights and posters, etc. I put up my GAoW poster. I won it in a radio contest and they sent me 3! I only wish I had kept them all. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 1 Nov 2000 22:02:27 -0500 From: "Jon" Subject: Re: Alloy: Art of Noise I saw the Art of Noise, in concert, a few months back! It was great. Trevor Horn played bass. Although I wish JJ Jezcalik had been involved. My only other compliant was that they played every song in a bass n drums style. The concert shirt is awesome. Totally black, with the words SEDUCE ME on the front. I have a lot of fun with that one. >>jon - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara Cohen" To: Sent: Wednesday, November 01, 2000 2:06 PM Subject: Alloy: Art of Noise > > >From: Jon Drukman > >Subject: Re: Alloy: welcome new members :) > > >what really did it to me > >back in those salad days though was Art of Noise. > >imagine a child of 13 seeing the video for "close to > >the edit". damn, MTV was so cool then. > > I was just listening to the AoN Drum-n-Bass remix album this weekend.
