[stevewho@pacbell.net] RE: Alloy: new photo of Dolby/Bowie ["Eli Secor" ] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri, 23 Jun 2000 08:34:35 EDT From: RThurF@aol.com Subject: Alloy: new photo of Dolby/Bowie Hello again everyone, just to let you know, I have received another great photo from Thomas which I've been attempting to publish onto my site (it's of Thomas standing with David Bowie backstage) I will send it personally to as many people as I can - everyone who requested the larger, performance photo has gotten it already (did it go through everyone?) - so please forward me your name if you weren't on that list & I'll get it over to you tonight. This delay is because AOL is refusing yet again to grant me access to my remote folder so that I can publish this. This has been happening almost every time lately when I've attempted to update my page. AOL's service has been getting exponentially worse over the last few months, their 'technical support' is an absolute *joke* (they've responded to me with irrelevant form letters with my name inserted, on all three occasions this has happened in the recent past, no matter how specifically/carefully I've explained the problem) I absolutely cannot continue with them if this is to keep happening. By this time next week, I hope to have found a new ISP (we're scouring the 'net for one!) and good riddance to AOL. Grrr. It just really frosts me when I can't even access my own stuff!! Meanwhile, I apologise to everyone for the delays in updates. I feel grossly unprofessional keeping everyone waiting like this. It won't be happening for much longer, I promise. Just let me know who would like a forward of the new image & you'll have it tonight... The label incorrectly lists track #2 as "Radio Science", while the LP album cover correctly lists the song as "Radio Silence". Is this error present on many pressings? Was it corrected on later pressings? I'm just wondering whether or not this label is an indication of a very early pressing of the disc. I apologize if this has been covered before, but I didn't know how to search the archives, assuming the list has archives. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 23 Jun 2000 17:10:32 -0700 From: "Eli Secor" Subject: RE: Alloy: new photo of Dolby/Bowie Hello Robin, Anytime you have photos, articles, interviews, etc (anything that would be of interest to fans) I'd love to be on the list. In particular I'd like this photo because I think it might be a good addition to a new photo gallery we'll be putting up in a month or two.
