They also like the Golden Age of Wireless video that we have. I even made a cassette tape of Dolby's music for my oldest to go with his walkman cassette tape player and radio he got last Christmas. Gee wonder if us Dolby fans who are parents are passing on a music tradition by getting our kids hooked unto Dolby's music. Who knows.... Please allow me to forward a second letter, which is an open letter to Thomas. This is also published with the author's generous permission. I must say it's SO wonderful to hear from other visual artists out there who are as continuously inspired as I am by Mr Dolby's work (and who can 'see' the music as well... :) !! Robin T :: Dear Mr. Dolby, I have always just wanted to let you know that you are one of my favorite and most inspiring musical artist that I have ever heard. I am a professional pastel artist living in Green Bay, Wisconsin in the United States. Your recordings are the most listened to in my studio for inspiration of my landscape and lighthouse pastels. I have never tired of them. I am inspired deeply by your music when I draw. The color of your music inspires colors for my art and I have found that my most successful art (selling wise) seems to be the ones drawn while listening to your music. Go figure, huh? You are truly an artist and I deeply respect your talent. Please accept my most heart felt gratitude. I hope all is well with you and your loved ones and that life treats you kindly. The Golden Age of Wireless is truly a classic. Thank you for reading my gibberish. Maybe someday I'll send you a pastel inspired by your music as a thank you if you'd like. It would be a great honor. Sincerely, Dan Lytle DBA Dan VanSandt :: ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V5 #95 **************************
