The book is: "The Worst-Case Scenario > Survival Handbook" Someone else just mentioned this to me last week! Synchronicity and all that. :-) I guess that means I'd better go find a copy! Turns out now, though, that I *don't* have to go to New Orleans with the group - the Boss (aka Liesel the Weasel) doesn't want consultants traveling about, representing the guv'ment. Oh well! Guess that means I get to sleep in after the Morrissey gig on Sunday night! I just found noticed that Ryuichi Sakamoto is performing at a funky little place here in DC later this month - anyone ever been to a Sakamoto gig? > I must go off now to study about isotopes... ::whimper:: > I was a terrible science student, except for chemistry. I was good at algebra, so chemistry, to me, seemed to be a marvelous way to use algebra to blow stuff up. :-) Have fun! Cheers, Melissa - -- Melissa R. I guess 3 hours isn't too far to travel to see one of tecno-pop's biggest contributers! M.L. - ----- Original Message ----- From: Melissa R. For those within trekking distance of DC, Ryuichi Sakamoto be playing the 9:30 Club (where I'll see Morrissey in two weeks!) on Friday, March 24th. I misread the date initially, hence I thought he was in town this month. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster (DC number: 202-432-SEAT) and, theoretically, online @ www.ticketmaster.com. The 9:30 club isn't a bad venue - the location (815 V Street, NW) is dodgy, but that's where a lot of the good music is! Cheers, Melissa - -- Melissa R.
