One thing I love about Thomas in his interviews is that he's so very calm, detailed and professional about the business side of Beatnik & its applications, and explains things with wonderful clarity for all to understand... then when he's asked how the internet is changing things for musicians in particular, he gets really psyched! Still professional and clear of course, but I'm overjoyed to hear his obvious enthusiasm for this aspect of it. I love hearing people who are so in love with their work that it's just embedded in them, and nothing will ever dilute it regardless of time or circumstance. Large-scale touring doesn't seem to be what he's interested in for the future, but I have no doubt we'll be hearing far more from Mr Dolby one way or another. And as for intimate club dates which he may find appealing, I hope he'll consider doing NYC (don't forget your east coast fans Thomas! :) Robin T ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V5 #1 *************************
