(non-Dolby) Sorry, but I get a kick out of that line. Saw it on a T-shirt at last year's Longs Peak Highland Festival here in Gorgeous Estes Park, Colorado. Is it true? Well, I bought me a drum there, built after the Celtic design, but discovered the sticker on the inside saying "Made in Pakistan". To be honest, I don't think anything good has come out of Scotland other than Sean Connery, shortbread, Scotch and crystal... oh, and the music. I went again this year, enjoyed some 18-year Scotch and Guinness, watched the Canadian 17th century 78th display their skills with genuine muskettes of the time (firing blanks into the crowd; always a fun sight to see them duck in laughter.) Watched them fire bowling balls (yes, bowling balls) out of a cannon into the lake trying to target the inflatable Nessie and listen to the likes of Men Of Worth and Seven Nations, two excellent bands. We even had a bit of rain and cold wind in the Scottish tradition. Also bought me a tie and a mousepad with my Clan's tartan (plaid pattern). I tried to find a sache for my dear fiance as well, but the Clan of MacAlister is not a well-known one. I need to buy my kilt soon! This year, they went up from $400 to $450! Yes, that's just the, er, well, 'skirt' part of the outfit. Not counting all the accessories. I wore my "Real men wear kilts" T-shirt, but no one asked why I wasn't, myself. My answer would have been, "Real men also have the money." Sorry to go off on something non-Dolby related but I know at least one person here would find an interest. Here's where I been, and here's where I's gonna be: Anna Christine made her appearance on Friday just before 7 PM. Vital stats are 7lb 14oz, 19.5 inches long. I never have figured out why those stats are so popularly told, but there they are. :) Anyway, I'm home less than 24 hours later, of my own request, because things went so unbelievably well and quickly, and I saw no need to sit around a hospital costing my insurance (and myself) more money. Chris is out getting some photos one-houred and scanned, in case anyone might like to glimpse her. Sorry for what I've missed in conversation lately, and hopefully I'll be able to check in again soon. Right now I'm gonna go catch some shuteye while *BOTH KIDS ARE ASLEEP CAN YOU BELIEVE IT*!
