Got to meet some of my husband's relatives for the first time. We had an adventure getting to Cleveland and getting back to wonderful L.A. Because our flight to Columbus Ohio was delayed an hour, our flight from Columbus to Cleveland left before we arrived in Columbus. It doesn't help of course that the flight to Cleveland was overbooked so there wasn't room for us anyway. Well, America west compensated by giving us a Limousine ride from Columbus to Cleveland. The Limo wasn't stocked with anything except a jar of Grey Poupon. Ohio is beautiful!! I really hope the developers of this world stay away from filling Ohio with civilization sprawl. If anyone in the L.A. County would like to get together on Dolby's birthday, let me know. We can always work out something. All for now folks. Happy Belated Birthday Crackers. There's no shame to growing older, you just get better with age. As for my invitation earlier for those in Southern California, if anyone anywhere would like to get together anytime soon, let me know. If not, cool. I can hang with it. Pax Aye, Kate;-) Stephen M. Did anyone else experience this? I sat here for half an hour that night, trying to play along with the Tune of the Day, and giggling all by myself like a nut. But since then all the icons are the same tone. Probably just as well, or I'd sit there playing the icons for hours each time I came to visit while my life fell apart around me & all my deadlines passed by unmet. It's a lovely sonorous marimba kind of note that's there now. The octave was an interesting concept though (and probably irresistable to try, because of the eight icons & all) Robin T back to her sewing ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V4 #257 ***************************
