The ?N=R works a treat too! Cheers, that'll do me. o I've taken a screen shot, cropped to the relevant bit, and wound up the JPEG compression level to 32 to get a 77k pic... it's on it's way soon. I also seem to have a word-wrap problem with the text input box on the "write mail" option... :-) if I forget to press enter at the end of the line and let it word wrap for me... you get these huge long lines on Alloy! o Hello Chris! Yes, it's annoying that it's so difficult to hear everything you'd want to... I still look forward to the day when I can download (for a reasonable price) any track I like, after hearing a short sample of it. This new 12x12 album should widen your knowledge a tad. o Stephen and Mary have informed me the record label I was wondering about doesn't look like TDR's own writing. (Although he did > say that he wasn't recording a new album yet) Very interesting you mentioned this, as I just picked up "12x12" last night, and the same thought came to my mind. And ya know, he never DID say what the exciting news was! To us, the release of "12x12" would certainly qualify, but it might not have been the type of thing Thomas would put in the "exciting" catagory. Which leads us to wonder what the "exciting news" was or is. Has it happened? Was/Is it a Dolby-the-musician announcement, or a Dolby-as-Beatnik news item? This was at the home of my friend, and she had MTV... which had only just come out a couple of years previous. We were in high school & I was about 15. It was at my friend's house that I saw/heard Thomas for the first time. I really did fall from the chair I was sitting in (this was my friend's dad's chair) I think I was leaning forward a little too much in amazement at the stunning sight & sound of Mr Dolby, and gradually overbalanced - it happened awfully fast though. And Toshiba, who was already a weird cat, freaked out at this. It _is_ funny in retrospect, as I never usually fell out of my chair. There was something about Mr Dolby that really got my attention!
