Best wishes to both of you, and say, I'm sure you've mentioned it before, but does Teresa like Thomas? ;) -- E(lipse who intends to write more lengthy posts any day now... ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 25 Jul 1999 02:01:52 -0500 From: Julieclipse Subject: Re: Alloy: (not just) Another Alloy Gathering (Have to get my $.03 cents in (I always do go overboard..)) Once again, congratulations on your upcoming wedding!! You're going to be so happy together :) Of course we'll be expecting even more pictures of the wedding ceremony... Robin T ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 25 Jul 1999 13:29:25 EDT From: RThurF@aol.com Subject: Alloy: meetings, photos (rant) (don't bother) As for meeting other Alloy folk, I've met Beth and Mark (before little Milena came along :) when they were passing through Boston but there are no photos of our meetings. I'd have loved to have Beth & Mark on film but you'll rarely see me on the business end of a camera. my distaste for being photographed probably arises from having photographers insist that I smile like a loon for any given snapshot. I like to smile when I'm happy, not when I'm commanded to by some photographer. For instance the (very abrasive) photographer at my sister's wedding kept insisting that he wouldn't take the picture until he saw 'those pearly whites'..! His saying this a million times really put me in an even worse mood apart from the fact that I was already wearing a borrowed dress on which the bodice was a size too small. I thought those photographers were supposed to make people feel relaxed! I kept narrowing my eyes at him... I expected I'd end up having to shove his camera rig into one of his bodily orifices before the day was over.
