Best regards, Stephen PS Thank you, also, for continuing to improve your invaluable Dolby discography that I, and no doubt many others, have found so useful! ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 24 Jul 1999 07:55:28 EDT From: RThurF@aol.com Subject: Re: Alloy: oh no! (and then some) In a message dated 7/23/99 11:58:43 PM Eastern Daylight Time, I eerily whispered: :: Too many pictures of Thomas... yet again... :: and it's not even so much the pictures as it is the man himself, as the interviews give us some small glimpse of him... how from the beginning his creative goals and ideals as an artist have never wavered even once, to this day... it makes a powerful impression on me. I've never seen someone with such creative drive who was also so personally logical, gentle, reasonable, and hard-working in every other respect as well. Seeing his photos reminds me of all that he is... together with finding him not at all wanting in the visuals department (and before he contradicts me on this, he should know I'm well aware of what I'm talking about, being a woman of the world and all :) Robin T only slightly recovered...! ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 24 Jul 1999 20:33:20 -0600 From: dalexander@juno.com Subject: Alloy: Teresa, my fiance Hey, I finally finished my page to include the story of my fiance Teresa! If anyone wants to see it, it's at http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/2717/better-half.html There are some pictures of Stephen and Mary Tillson there as well, since we met them the same day we got engaged! *Subnote: Thomas was there too! Well, ok; his picture was on my T-shirt, the one Stephen did up for us. ___________ JAMac (Dennis S. I wanted to post Alloy to see who lived in the area but I really didn't have time. I wish I would have as it gets boring, hanging out at the hotel for 3 days in a row, no matter how classy the place is. That and you were one of the people in particular that I wanted to meet, being Scottish and all. ___________ JAMac (Dennis S. That's only 5 (almost 6, sorry Kate) but, not bad. By the way, Keith and I saw Zuba last night, a jazzy, funky blues band that used to be local. It was nice to catch a woman on lead guitar, for a change. We caught her last performance in Denver (for who knows how long). If she ever shows up in your town, definitely check her out! She was hot! The whole place was jumpin'. She treated that guitar like it was the only thing she's known her whole life! ___________ JAMac (Dennis S. Thanks >and, all you IT people, I"m looking into pumping up my job skills with computer science courses--any that you woudl recommend as beeing sorely needed in the real world? C? C++? Java? Networking ? anything else? An MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) seems to help if you want to get into the good money. Although I just talked with a top-notch Consulting firm that told me that experience was better than an MCSE, yet others have heard so many stories of how people got hired for very nice paying jobs with only an MCSE (no experience). So I really don't know. I'm going to go ahead and get certified anyway. I figure an MCSE and 12 years experience ought to get me *somewhere*. ___________ JAMac (Dennis S.
