Not at all awkward, and very graciously done, Lem. I'm glad to have your input! OK. I have just reviewed the relevant passages, and although I am by far not immune to mondegreens, I again submit that it is "****, maybe" in each and every case. I submit the only certain resolution to this will have to come from Thomas himself, as we seem to be rather equally divided on this issue, or, er, the words are clearly unclear even to the dolby- geekiest among us - myself included. Let the Truth be known! It dawned on me that this could make the basis of a nice little contest. We select X-number of unclear lyrics, and ask contestants to submit their guesses as to what the lines in question really say. Thomas can then reveal the True and Accurate Answers, and distribute autographed pairs of Y-fronts as prizes. Well, OK, forget the prizes, then. It can still be fun, not to mention educational. Just wanted to stick my head into the room & tell everyone what a wonderful time a friend of mine just had in Leipzig... there was a festival there at which Creatures (Siouxie and Budgie's band) played. To follow along with the topics of Musicians that have Played with Thomas as well as Men in Drag (crackers' fave!) I submit to you this photo: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Pit/4929/leipzig/budgie1.jpg I never knew he had such nice legs!
