I can't wait to see it when it's finished. We are getting to the point where we could have a Dolby Webring (linking sites which feature Mr Dolby, with maybe additional links to those sites sonified by Beatnik? I'm still learning the ins & outs of all of this but that's what I'd like) My own site aspires to be both.. I have some rather unique ideas for Beatnik usage which soar far beyond my actual pagemaking skills at this time, but once I get it together it's going to be really cool :) For now, I must concentrate on learning software... I'm wondering if many people here have had a chance to work with the software that lets you listen to radio stations around the world which broadcast over the web? If so, what are some good ones you've found? To our great disappointment all of our new local stations are TERRIBLE, so we've finally taken the plunge & begun looking around for others via the Internet. It was fun listening to some of the Boston stations yesterday... now I'd really like to hear some in other parts of the world. Any advice, much appreciated! He was a big fan of this Pirate Radio Station in his younger years and was wondering if anyone knew if they still broadcast live on the net? I'm just guessing, but could this be the subject of Radio Silence, Airwaves etc... I know for a fact that Radio Caroline were known for playing reams of Dolby material in their heyday? After all...What was 'Caroline 452' all about? Any offers? The following web site (located in France) has the most comprehensive list of radio stations that I've seen on the internet. Be sure your browser is open to your screen width. You listen to the stations by clicking on the Real icon to the right of the station name. Here's the link, happy listening: http://www.comfm.fr/ - -Keith Denver (no good stations here either) - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Monday, April 12, 1999 8:11 AM Subject: Alloy: best radio stations on the Web? > > I'm wondering if many people here have had a chance to work with the software > that lets you listen to radio stations around the world which broadcast over > the web?
