A New Web Page Oh Weh Oh! ["Mary A. Brown" Subject: Alloy: What do you want? A New Web Page Oh Weh Oh! Just thought I'd comment on the fine efforts by my fellow Alloyers... Andy, I really enjoyed your site. I had no idea about TMDR's penchant for bulldozers! And I confess that I have names picked out for the two dogs I hope to own someday - Morgan, for the "M" in TMDR and Kirby, for the character Thomas' wife played on Dynasty (which I never saw). Does that make me twice as geeky? Ah, if you only knew... I also found myself murmuring things like, "Oh yeah" as I read your highly personal and very charming dissections of each song. And when I disagreed, it was intriguing to read why you did or didn't like something. Of course I added my vote to the "Release Urban Tribal" link. For those of you who may have misplaced the URL or just want the instant gratification, here 'tis: http://www.finalysys.com/users/radio/music/tmdr.htm Ah, Lem, what can I say? Your site appeals to me on so many levels. Thank God for your opposable thumbs! I have to chuckle when I think of my fellow biologists innocently using a search engine and hitting this sly little gem. The wallpaper is great, the photos are wonderful, and of course the writing is first-rate (hmm, it's like you do it for a living or something). I just want to know which came first, the sock monkey page or the Intel ad? Lem's page: http://members.tripod.co.uk/Lemur/index.html And, Robin, you've got a good start. That photo is marvelous and it triggered a pleasant memory for me. The first time I went to NYC, I stood in that very place in front of Radio City Music Hall, knowing that TMDR (and millions of others!) had been there. Robin's site: http://members.aol.com/RThurF/dolbysgirl/htm And I'm pleased that links to Paul's photo gallery have been included by everyone since I always enjoy putting a face to what people have written. I've sent that URL to friends of mine so they can see who these folks are that I tend to talk about on a regular basis! I just want to reiterate that all three of you have done fine work and I look forward to further enhancements. Oh, and, Andy, get the rest of those commentaries done, ya hear? Still in awe of the aforementioned accomplishments, Europa ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V4 #110 ***************************
