Well done E(clipse. But let's not forget that some folk may not be having such a good time, and may be reluctant to let us know about it. I think maybe one is playing with fire when they fall in love with a puppy. He made me feel SO loved and secure and had even asked about moving in with me a few weeks before he said "he wasn't happy"?! I discouraged his living with me, told him we could lose what we had, stupidly reminded him how eccentric I was and how "quiet" I liked the house to be most of the time...I am a writer and sometimes I require total solitude. This had never been a "problem" before, he made me feel that "all writers are like that I hear, I can handle it." HA HA He realised that meant he couldn't have his 18 year old buddies over to play dungeons and dragons and watch violent movies...maybe I didn't really "lose anything." He's nearly 20 years old but perhaps not ready to be a grown up...and maybe I'm not ready to be cook, maid and in total submission to every single whim he has...I spoiled him rotten only to find "something" is missing? I won't even bother to tell you about the "perfect" sex life he will PROBABLY NEVER SEE AGAIN IN HIS LIFETIME. I am an "older" woman, so perhaps he left because he was always too tired to go to work the next day by the time I was finished with him... Just to help the HAPPY COUPLE remember just how DAMN LUCKY they are to have each other...I'd love to go to the golden gate bridge right now... I don't do yelling, arguing, makes me shake, too sensitive...I won't live with a guy unless he has HIS OWN ROOM; visiting hours 24/7 fine, but don't even think of leaving your clothes in a pile in MY room... see: retentive bitch...***evil**** It is amazing how much we all have in common when we share our tragedies...I was shocked at the fan mail I got from my first book (little dark poetry book, NOT exactly a best seller) it seemed like I said things that some people felt but couldn't put words to, it's a great feeling to touch people's lives, but almost creepy when it cuts too close and someone feels just shocked. I had stayed out the "relationship" thing for 3 years sincemy divorce; I wrote the book about love versus lust and what went wrong...and then I do this puppy thing??? And you are right! I am in shock because I GAVE everything I had and asked FOR nothing in return! WELL I asked for ONE thing; NO LIES, EVER!!! Lying I will NEVER accept... I was never jealous or demanding, I was always there for his every wish...3 course BREAKFAST IN BED every morning after he stayed over!!!!! But maybe that's THE problem...I had NO idea he wasn't happy...you sure as hell could've fooled me. I am pretty damned intuitive but it always fails me when I fall in love...I KNOW it is LUST for god's sake, I know the difference at my age, but why the hell does it hurt just the same?? I have to admit I'm NO prize, I am very reclusive and would not go sit around at starbucks with him talking about bullshit or go play vampyre the masqurade street games.
