It's actually for "The Golden Age Of Wireless" with the comic book cover. Sorry for any confusion or disappointment this has caused (I didn't get to read the final version of the message before it went out!). >> The contest sounds like fun, but I have no hope of being able to participate (sadly, because the GAOW image is one of my favorites of all time) I have absolutely no head for 'factoids'. I can hardly remember my own phone number on some days, much less "How many bruises are on Thomas' shins when his reflexes are tested in the 'Science' video, and how did they get there?" sorts of things! The T~mmy Awards (aaaackk... tommy.... ak ak ak) must necessarily go on without me, though I'm sure we'll all survive my absence somehow :) Robin T ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 21 Feb 1999 00:35:24 +0000 From: "I T Admin @ Govt Office North West" Subject: Re: Alloy: Hello all ! At last, another Alloyite from this side of the Atlantic to swell our relatively small numbers. Have you been lurking for long? Has anyone got any up to date info. on what TMDR is up to ? Is he completly submerged in Headspace stuff these days and no straight music roles ? >> Welcome, Rob! The most late-breaking news we officially have... which you may know already... is that Thomas has moved from being CEO of Headspace to being its chief creative contributor as of a few weeks ago, thus freeing him up to do music projects within Headspace. You may look through Alloy's archives for this: http://www.smoe.org/lists/alloy/ or I can forward you the information. No news about independent music projects to date. However a few months back, he generously told all of us about a private concert he gave for friends at his own 40th birthday party, that made him extremely happy to be able to do. He'd written a few new things & did new versions of some already-written work. I would LOVE to have heard this!!! What this all means as far as I can tell is that he's interested, but for now wants to ponder the possibilities before taking any kind of plunge. Meanwhile, we can look forward to seeing what Headspace comes out with now that Thomas is at the creative helm :) Robin T ------------------------------ End of alloy-digest V4 #55 **************************
