I haven't tried all the different types of bombs yet/different levels of detonation they give you to play around with. With the lowest strength nuclear weapon going off in a mid- air burst right above my apartment, most of Boston & its immediate suburbs are taken out to varying degrees, & there's nothing but a very deep impact crater - - just from air pressure! - where my neighborhood once stood. Is this part of the quiz? I'll just try it again later, though after going through the whole test including balancing a heavy book on my arm & counting the words of a paragraph as fast as I can (all before breakfast) I really wish I'd been able to see what it all means. She needs this! Have you seen the picture of Lara Croft and Duke Nukem together? Go to http://www.3drealms.com/e398/dukelara.html - okay, so it's not the animated version, but these are the official people hired for last year's E3 conference. We sent our Duke Nukem guy down to the Eidos booth, complete with showgirls, to get a few pictures taken with Eidos' Lara Croft actress. Surprisingly, no one from Eidos said no to the pictures. Good PR both ways, I guess. We've got to get these two people (the animated versions, that is) in a game together...sort of like a "good guy" version of Alien vs. Predator. :-) // Lee Jackson (leej@3drealms.com) // Music and Sound Director // Apogee Software, Ltd. & 3D Realms Entertainment ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Jan 1999 12:48:04 -0800 From: Kathleen Truelove Subject: Re: Alloy: Tarot & Lara Robin, The Druid Animal cards have different animals on them. Each of the animals are written about in the Druid Animal oracle book which comes with the cards. It's hard to explain exactly how the cards work. What you do basically is ask the cards a question for yourself or relating to yourself, then do a card spread, then read in the book what is written on each animal card that you end up picking. I like these cards better than the regular tarot cards. I have seen the Native American version of the tarot cards. Haven't had a chance to get a deck and try it out. Guess I'll have to one day. Well, all for now. Yeah, I left the Law & Order mailing list after several people ripped me a new one for mentioning the show Homicide - just mentioning it... Oy vey! I think Keith meant David Lee Roth after Van Halen rather than Van Halen minus David Lee Roth. Ooh, rock math! Suddenly, I'm thinking about the celebrity equations from Spy magazine or Entertainment Weekly. Let's try one... David Lee Roth + Pamela Anderson Lee x Pauly Shore = Jenny McCarthy ...oh, that one was too easy... Koko the Gorilla > Pauly Shore heh heh heh... that was really easy.
