Some of my 2008 faves so far...
The Brilliant Mistakes "Distant Drumming" (Pop-Americana at its finest)
The General Store "Mountain Rescue" (Tam Johnstone has done it again. FANTASTIC west-coast sound blended with alt.country delight)
Adrian Whithead "One Small Stepping Man" (great Macca-styled piano driving pop tunes from start to finish)
Andy Reed "Fast Forward" (soaked in pop singer-songwriter. Not to be missed!)
The Felice Brothers "s/t" (what americana is all about)
and then....
