Hey Paul,

Yeah, I saw a show on that same tour, at The Palladium in New York.  I
believe it was November of 1978.  After the show my friend Jeff and I saw
Reggie Knighton and his band getting ready to board their tour bus.  We were
both fans of his, and in our youthful ardor we yelled "Reggie, Reggie!!!" at
him, trying to get his attention.  He was clearly in earshot of us but the
jerk wouldn't even look at us, preferring to stare blankly at nothing in
particular as if he was some kind of rock star.  Even at my very naive age
of 20, I thought that was very bush league of him.
