Not to shoot down 2 of your discoveries, but as was previously mentioned, the Bruce Woolley And The Camera Club/ Bugles versions of "Video Killed The Radio Star" were simultaneously released - Sort of like the Echo & The Bunnymen/Teardrop Explodes versions of "Read It In Book" ...and "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" isn't technically a cover. The Robert Hazard original was never released and the version on the internet is just the songwriting demo that was shopped to Lauper (as far as I know). She does do a cover of Jules Shear's "All Through The Night" and The Bangles cover his "If She Knew What She Wants" too. To tie it all together, Tommy Conwell covers some Jules Shear too and has some co-writes with Robert Hazard I didn't know the Toni Basil song was a cover - Thanks for that one! Nice video of the Arrows. I didn't know that existed. Joan Jett's career is probably about 50% covers. Here's one I hadn't heard her do before though: Joan Jett - ''Destination Unknown'' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgueJbw1vjI This has always been one of my favorites: The Korgis - Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime (Original)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOqXy64-hTw Beck - Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime (Cover) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIVh8Mu1a4Q Krezip - Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime (Cover) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXyRyd_uW5s - Dan
