There are 3rd party apps that do this, some free. I ended up using audacity (free) since I also use it as my DAW for my own recordings sometimes. Just import it as a flac and then export it as apple lossless. However, I was too frustrated by then to figure out how to get the artwork into iTunes. I am starting to really hate technology. Meanwhile, I *really* like this album and have been playing it a lot.
