I have often said that my favorite musician of all times is Ornette Coleman. I stand by that statement.
The world lost him this morning. He won the Pulitzer Prize . He was a terrific dresser. He made me laugh and cry , sometimes in the same song.
I was fortunate to have seen him live several times. 
I will miss him dearly.
If you only listen to one of these , make it "Lonely Woman". It is a classic.
