I just happened to listen to again over the weekend, too. I've always loved the album. When I used to do my little streaming radio deal, I called it my favorite album of 2001...oh what an honor ;-P I would agree that I like it better than "Bellybutton", but it can't come near "Spilt Milk". I think I like "Waiting" and "What A Drag" more than any other tunes, and I still remember hearing "Hello" playing as background music at Home Depot a couple of times. Super weird. I believe their indie release "Tastes Like Sugar", which has a few songs on it that are not on "Bully", is also very good. The song "Ordinary Man" was one of my favorites. I have not been able to find anything else that any of these guys, or a subset of them, have done since. The production alone, though truly well done is more dance? oriented and the songs aren't the same class of writing as Sturmer/Manning- lyrics specifically. Not sure I'll be listening to it for the next 40 years. "Bully" is such a good song, but then songs like "Motormouth" I just skip...there's no room for rap in my pop. > That being said, I'll probably pull the disc out and give it a spin today.
