Bully's a great record. A lot of the songs have a definite Jelly-vibe, but I wouldn't put it next to either JF album. The production alone, though truly well done is more dance? oriented and the songs aren't the same class of writing as Sturmer/Manning- lyrics specifically. Not sure I'll be listening to it for the next 40 years. "Bully" is such a good song, but then songs like "Motormouth" I just skip...there's no room for rap in my pop. That being said, I'll probably pull the disc out and give it a spin today. Thanks for the reminder, Rick. later, joe -----Original Message----- >From: Rick McCall >Sent: Jul 17, 2011 4:10 AM >To: audities@smoe.org >Subject: Sugarbomb > >Was on a trip recently and listened again to the Sugarbomb CD called Bully. >Seriously, anyone who thinks Jellyfish was all that (I'm one of those) >couldn't help but eat this disc alive.
