Just saw him last weekend in Chicago.

I like a lot of his songs...especially when he keeps it "simple"....when he
gets too "busy' it sounds "nervous" to me, and I cannot stay involved.  My
son is a HUGE fan of Sondre's and kind of 'drug" me to the show....but, I am
glad I went.

If it is any indication, ever since I saw the show, I have been listening to
Sondre's new disc...non-stop.

Subject: Sondre Lerche US west coast tour this week & next

Lerche has a new S/T lp out also. I'm listening to it now for the 1st 
time and so far not bad, but certainly not The Royalties -- but what is 
other than Christine McVie in her prime. Too singer-songwritery for my 
blood, but I'm thinking of seeing him anyway in SF. $20 + drinks won't 
kill me. It would be a no-brainer if Julian Berntzen was in the 
traveling band, but not this time. Hopefully Julian is creating 
something for us to hear soon.
