Longtime dBs fan here and I'm over the moon about the Record Store Day offering (a 7" called "Picture Sleeve).


The dBs initially regrouped in 2005 and played a few gigs here and there. I caught them in 2007 at an amazing show at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC. The reunited lineup is the vintage one from "Repercussions' and "Stands for deciBels" : Chris Stamey, Peter Holsapple, Will Rigby and Gene Holder.

They've been working on a record for the last couple of years and have even made one song "World to Cry" available for download (check their Web page: http://thedbs.com). Another song destined for the dBs record made it onto last year's Holsapple/Stamey reunion record, Which was terrific if you missed it.
