They've been around for a while. I have two previous cds, though one was not commercially released, Demonstration Recordings... there is a version of New Painter Man on that one too. It's Kurt from the FBX and Jim Sangster from YFF with Mike Musburger on drums. I think its Camella singing. There was another singer, but he left while they were making the record, so some got redone. -----Original Message----- From: audities-owner@smoe.org [mailto:audities-owner@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Gene Good Sent: Saturday, March 26, 2011 3:12 PM To: audities@smoe.org; beyondawizard@yahoogroups.com Subject: Thee Sgt. Major This is well worth hearing, especially if you like Fastbacks or Young Fresh Fellows. Good crunchy guitars, and swell female vocals.Loads of fun. Don't know where this group came from. But it had me hitting replay twice. Unadorned joy indeed. http://www.npr.org/2011/03/24/134823224/thee-sgt-major-iii-unadorned-joy-thr ough-a-tube-amp&sc=nl&cc=sod-20110324 Enjoy! Gene
