Amazon is now offering the deluxe edition of the Blue Shadows' 1993 debut album, "On the Floor of Heaven," as a $5 download (24 songs!). This is the fantastic Vancouver-based band that was co-fronted by Jeffrey Hatcher and the late Billy Cowsill. Great harmony-laden country rock that fans of "Sweethearts" era Byrds, the Jayhawks, Everly Brothers, Foster & Lloyd, and Rockpile are bound to dig. Hopefully a similar reissue will follow for their second album, "Lucky to Me."
