I'll be there on and off as I live about 5 miles from the venue. Look for me near the front at the Zombies, Suzanne Vega, OK Go and Soul Asylum. I'll be the pop geek without the glasses. (Don't be shocked, I wear contact lenses!) If anybody's there early on Sunday, there's a good local band playing on the Crossroads / 104.3 Stage at 12:30, Someone Say Something. Saw them there last year and they've got some good poppy songs and harmonies. Check out "Little Man" on their myspace: http://www.myspace.com/someonesaysomething IMHO, last year's lineup was better -- TMBG (2 sets), Gin Blossoms, Third Eye Blind, Tommy James, Pete Yorn, the Alarm, the Minus 5, Cy Curnin (of the Fixx) and the almighty friggin 1910 Fruitgum Company!!! Sure, the Zombies trump all of them, but there was more I needed to see last year. Gary ---------- Original Message ---------- From: audities-owner@smoe.org Hi folks I live a bit west of NYC and there is a 2-day free music festival at a park near here, and each year the line-up gets more and more awesome. Here's the link to check out: http://www.ucmusicfest.com If you're in NYC, just take the NJ Transit train out to Rahway, NJ and there is a free shuttle bus right to the festival site... let me know if you're coming on over and we can grab a beer there Mike
