Really saddened by the announcement that Owsley is gone ( I was hoping it was a false report, but seems to be confirmed). Great musician, and was eagerly waiting to see him release more music of his own (rather than just be in Amy Grant's band). Really wanted to see him at IPO San Francisco about 5 years ago but he cancelled a few days before the gig (can't recall if he actually played LA IPO). An odd coincidence, I just pulled out The Semantics 'Powerbill' last week for a listen. Huge loss to the pop world. May he rest in peace... and sympathy to his family.
