A recent thread about artists that sound similar to the Free Design 
inspired me to slap together this compilation of sunshine pop -- perhaps 
my favorite genre of music. It also includes some FD covers (mostly 
recent, with one exception) scattered amongst songs that have that 
Dedrick vibe. Of course there's one song from Chris Dedrick himself, and 
an uncredited Free Design sing on the Enoch Light track. Rita Calypso's 
"Settlement Boy" is a wonderful cover of Ellen Dedrick's rare solo 
single. Recently discovered Northern Lights, Tiza (from Spain) and Gabor 
Szabo & The California Dreamers, so I had to find room for them.  Here's
