When was a young bass player, I was always an Entwhistle fan, but  
when I saw this a few years ago, I really appreciated his uniqueness,  
and the fact that he was just perfect for The Who:

It's the Ox Cam and bass isolated on the "WGFA" video below. I  
probably didn't appreciate his total drive and his ability to be  
melodic until I heard this.

And come on guys, it's The Who...you can't knock 'em. They even made  
me shiver when I watched them on the TV from Glastonbury two years ago.

If the moment when Daltrey's "Yeaaaahhhhh" and Pete's power chord  
brings the song back in after the breakdown hasn't been one of the  
single most spine tingling moments for you in rock 'n' roll ever,  
then you've probably never been properly alive
