The Big Star box is great. A lot of the unreleased songs have floated around in bootleg circles for years, but nice to have in best available quality. When the box was first announced, there was some bitching and moaning that it didn't include a DVD of the recently unearthed footage of the band in the studio. BUT...that footage is included on the last disc (as an enhanced CD, so it most can only be played on a computer). Love it...

All this drooling over the Beatles, Am I the only one in the room running to the mail box every 15 minutes to see if the Big Star box set has arrived ??? That little 2  cd "Thank you Friends ( the Ardent story)" has kept me satisfied for the summer though.
