>>They seem unable to cope on a customer service level with the current >>problems. I am shocked they did not do proper testing ona site before >>launching it - bring back the old site! As a consumer, I had a pretty decent sized "saved items" which was the result of a lot of trolling around and listening. Rather than having to write everything down, I'd just save it (like I do on Amazon) so it would be easy to pick a few things to get. That list got VAPORIZED when they re-did the site, without warning. Had I known, I would have cut and pasted a copy to a file as a safeguard. When I emailed them to ask what happened, their response was: "after many attempts by our programmers to salvage this information, any wishlists from the old website will not be accessible in the new accounts for the time being. We're hoping to have those lists back at some point, though. In the meantime you can still start a new wishlist." So they knew it wouldn't work...but they didn't send an email to warn us? b
