Last night my wife and I saw David Mead live at Scuba's in Chicago. His partner on this tour was none other than Bill Demain of Swan Dive. What a great performer David is. Not only does he delight with tales of the road, Ron Sexsmith impersonations, and just good old homespun fun, he gloriously sings like an angel. I have been enjoying  the many vocal thrills of his albums for years. And Bill on his  site has been talking up David's new album "Almost and Always" for almost a year now. I can't review the album yet, but I heard a lot of the songs from it and they are beautiful. Believe me , his live show is a 'do not miss"one. Here is a guy out there getting it done .Touring in a car with his friend. The show boast a treasure full of musical magic. If he happens to play near you , give him a try.I can't recommend him higher. I was moved and full of joy when I left.
