i have an ipod touch and use it as a web wi-fi device to complement my blackberry when I'm on the road and need to get on the net asap and my powerbook is too awkward and/or not available (ie at a gig or packed away) with various useful apps (currency exchange, weather, etc) - i use itunes on my home/work computers to listen to downloads, stuff sent in, etc... - i use home system for vinyl and cds and for critical listening - boombox with cd & cassette for quickie listening to demos, etc... this is at the office - DAT player when i need to listen to old masters and board tapes - in the car, i play cds and i take all new purchases on road trips (altho i am seriously thinking about using an FM signal thing to play my old cassettes through the car stereo from an old walkman like player since my new car doesn't have a built in cassette) - and i just bought a 2nd hand ADAT player so I have it if I need to transfer old ADAT multi-tracks into protools, etc, for remixing - i buy 99.9% cds, and the occasional iTunes track when I need a specific song and/or need to hear something asap - always buying old vinyl and have a "rough" turntable to play rough looking vinyl that i know i will never find in playable condition and like to stack about 5-6 of these while i'm at the office working.... old-school mixvinyl? on a 60s era Seabreeze changer... http://www.bongobeat.com
