I got the Blue Ray... I guess it depends on the how much you are willing
to spend for the extra content.  For me, this is just awesome; some of
the best parts are the videos.  3 of my favorites:  There is a great
CSNY live on TV performance of "Down By the River".  There is a
fascinating (About 15 minutes long) sequence of Neil finding a CSNY
bootleg, and taking it from the store.  There is also some real cool
behind the scenes footage of Neil recording "Man Needs a Maid" with the
London Symphony. And many other things too. I haven't even gotten to
"Journey Through the Past" yet....  Oh, and one of the live shows (I
forgot which one, but it is one of the solo acoustic performances) has
the entire show also shot in video, so that is very nice.  The only
reason to get the Blue Ray rather than the DVD is that if you hook up
the Blue Ray player to the internets, additional songs can be downloaded
to your player as they become available.  I heard they have just secured
the rights to the Mynah Byrds songs, so I really need to figure this
thing out... Anyway, for me it was totally worth it... I've put hours
and hours into it, and still have not gotten through it all, but of
course, your mileage may vary....

I don't have a home theater setup either, which is a big part of my
problem. I would have to listen through the dvd player.
Any members here have a case for getting the dvd set? Would love to get
opinions on this.
