Eugene Edwards is playing this year's LA IPO. I just sent him an email yesterday to ask what he's up to generally vis a vis his own career, but haven't heard back yet. By the way, Eugene makes his day-to-day living in music...he's been (and I thinks till is) Sha-Na-Na's lead guitarist. I then realized I'd never got Piucci's solo album Helenes... found one on half.com for $2. If you dig Boatclub or Rain Parade, you'd like this one too rs doctormoist wrote: > Just picked up these on a buying spree from CDBaby: > > Craig Marshall-Point of View > Tony Cox-Unpublished (Wow!) > Chris Richards & The Subtractions > Clint Sutton-s/t (double Wow!) > Andrew Rosas (Chris Bell reincarnated?) > Boatclub-s/t > Your Gracious Host-s/t > Chewy Marble-Modulations > Invisible Mind Circus- Look Inside > Travis Hopper-All The Lights In The City Tonight > Cheap Star- Speaking Like An Elephant > > Not a clunker in the bunch. Along with Eugene Edwards (BTW, has he quit the biz?), these newer artists really stand out and appeal to my sense of what melodic guitar pop oughta' be. What do you folks think? > > Jeff > > > > >
