Jeff, That is an amazing haul, but have to add my voice on the Tony Cox. I think Steve over at Absolute Power Pop reviewed this recently, too - but I ran into it elsewheres. If you were a fan of the 90s band Dodgy (who I believe are actually back together with Nigel Clark in the mix) - you owe it to yourself to check this one out. The songs are by Tony, but the production, vocals and instrumentation is Nigel. It really plays like a low key soulful Dodgy and it's an amazing record. It appears Tony wants a songwriting deal, but these versions are so accomplished I wonder if anyone will think they can better them. Extremely highly recommended as a great sage once said. Also, I completely concur on The Bees / Silver Seas & The Nourallah Brothers (Salim turned the knobs on Rhett Miller's current release, I'm pretty sure). -craig On Fri, Jun 26, 2009 at 10:08 AM, doctormoist wrote: > Just picked up these on a buying spree from CDBaby: > > Tony Cox-Unpublished (Wow!) > > Not a clunker in the bunch.
