Tom Cruisemissle's jumping on Oprah's couch and being a total arrogant moral-compass holding twit didn't help his career any. Just because one is compelled to look at a car wreck doesn't mean your investing in General Motors. These seem more like car wreck moments to me...maybe they are "acts" but if so, misguided and arrogant ones, I think. I don't see the big pay off. Take Joaquin Phoenix for example. He's already would have the fame and curiosity about his retiring from film to start his recording career. Could looking so out of it and foolish on Letterman really increase record sales more then his fame already would have without looking like a boob? Yeah, and I know some say his whole thing is a joke. I don't think so... Just my 2 cents. Oh, but yeah, as stated..drugs seem to be a likely mix in Billy Bob's system that morning. Steve D
