One of the great things about using iTunes (and other digital music players) is the ability to sort by different fields. I happened to sort my collection by "Year" today and jumped randomly to 1994. Wow, what a year that was for music (could it REALLY be 15 years ago now)? Check out this playlist for '94: RAPPLE DAPPLE by the Greenberry Woods; RO SHAM BO by The Grays; DOOKIE by Green Day; THIS PERFECT WORLD by Freedy Johnston; FLIPPIN' OUT by the Gigolo Aunts; PROPELLER by Shoes; FIVE DAYS IN JULY by Blue Rodeo; AURORA GORY ALICE by Letters to Cleo; SON OF ALTERED BEAST by Matthew Sweet; TWICE REMOVED by Sloan; TEENAGE SYMPHONIES TO GOD by Velvet Crush and WEEZER (blue album). Man, what a great year. I'm probably missing some, too, but that there's some damn fine music - probably as good as any year in the last 20 or so, IMHO. Mike (who was 31 in 1994)
