Folks, my Friday offering today is what I consider the first entry in the best music of 2009. Eleni Mandell's "Artificial Fire" is chock full of swell music. I have followed her entire career, but I do believe she is making her best music right now, This slow grower is total proof. Her songwriting is top notch, as well as her singing. Jeremy, her guitar player is a wizard. Check out her site with 4 songs from the album. Check out the guitar on the title tune, and "Bigger Burn". Check out the cool elegance od "Right Side". This album is beautiful.
